STORY

Joe Somiano risked it all by dropping out of college to pursue his childhood dream of becoming a pro wrestler, much to the disapproval of his father. King Crown Jr. is a second-generation pro-wrestler, and current Heavyweight Champion of Super Pro. K.O.!, that drinks more than he trains. Will Joe ever get a shot at wearing the SPKO Title? And will King Crown Jr. stay focused enough to defend the Championship  at any costs?

SPKO: Gold for Glory Is Out Now!

So Super Pro K.O.!: Gold for Glory is out nationwide now! Be sure to grab a copy in your local comic shop or bookstore. I'm extremely proud of this book and I'm really happy to see it being received so well by readers online. I also recently came back from the American Library Association Conference in Orlando to help promote awareness of the series to librarians. I had a blast so if you're one of the librarians I met, thanks for stopping by my table and checking out my comics!

Newsarama recently gave SPKO:Gold for Glory a "10-out-of-10" rating!

That feels great! Charlie Chu (my editor at Oni Press) and I went through around 12 drafts/revisions for the script. It was a lot of work...much of it stressful. However, it's cool to be on the other end of the process and see out on stands. I recently signed copies at Savannah Comics and Planet Fun if you happen to be in Savannah, GA. I'm in the process of getting more comp books from publisher. Once I have received those, I'll use PayPal to begin coordinating mailing copies to those who'd like a signed copy as well.

Also, I recommend checking out the fun extras at the end of this volume. I actually had more extras planned but the page count was getting a little up there in size already. Ha!

You can purchase copies of SPKO: Gold for Glory here:

You can also purchase it in digital form on Comixology here:

Thanks for the support! I'm currently wrapping up Hyper Force Neo vol. 1 now so I'm off to finish that book next! It will be on stands February 2017.

Sincerely,

Jarrett Williams
