SPKO 3 Hanging Around

Here's another spread from SPKO 3. It's early on in the book and complete with a note to my Art Director, Keith Wood. 

I think it's pretty important to show the wrestlers in SPKO in and outside the ring. Sensational Sike, The Wildchilds, and Joe Somiano have become quite the "clique" over the past 2 books so I wanted to show them having a night just relaxing a bit in their hotel room. 

I also draw pretty rough and dirty so I'm working on cleaning my pages up a bit more after scanning. (I hate scanning so much). There's always something you have to do that you don't want to do right??? haha!

Pocket Brawlers!

Here's a random ad in Super Pro K.O.! for Pocket Brawlers, a popular toy in the S.P.K.O. universe! Inspired by Tamagotchi, these battling mini-wrestlers toys are really popular among the S.P.K.O. fans. I wanted to lock down an idea of how the game experience would be playing Pocket Brawlers so I created this handy spread. It's one of the many extras in the back of Super Pro K.O.! 3: Gold for Glory. Drawing these spreads are so much fun. It reminds me of being a kid and eye-balling the tons of ads in columns in EGM and GamePro. It's cool being able to capture a bit of that in Super Pro K.O.! More to come!
