Joe Somiano risked it all by dropping out of college to pursue his childhood dream of becoming a pro wrestler, much to the disapproval of his father. King Crown Jr. is a second-generation pro-wrestler, and current Heavyweight Champion of Super Pro. K.O.!, that drinks more than he trains. Will Joe ever get a shot at wearing the SPKO Title? And will King Crown Jr. stay focused enough to defend the Championship  at any costs?

SPKO: Joe's Airport Strut

Hey folks,

It's been a while but I'm definitely waist high in SPKO 3! Here's a page I just finished inking this morning that's actually from another SPKO bonus story (but more on that later).

Something about Joe here makes me so happy.  I don't know if it's the board shirts or the fact that I feel like I really tapped into the kid he is at heart. If you've read SPKO: Neon #1, you may recognize a few things from this page. Shoutout to everyone who has purchased a copy so far! I've been surprised at the locations I've been mailing these to. If you haven't got a copy, here's a link to my Etsy shop: KING CROWN JR.'s SECRET STASH SHOP ON ETSY SHOP

Anyway, I'm off to get back to work. My schedule's pretty rough these days but I really want to be done with this volume. And that's coming from a "I love this book but it's really hanging over me" kind of place :D

Order Super Pro K.O.!: NEON Issue #1 on Etsy

A couple of readers reached out saying they wanted a copy of SPKO: Neon #1. Well guess what? I just set up an Etsy shop to handle the orders! You can get a copy for yourself or a friend here: KING CROWN JR.'s SECRET STASH SHOP ON ETSY SHOP It's 28 pages of goodness with a cool poster of The Other for your wall!

The feedback has been great and I sold quite a few more than I expected at Heroes Convention.  I should be adding last year's El Heroe mini-poster to the Etsy store shortly as well if you'd like that too. If all goes as planned, there should be a Super Pro K.O.! : NEON Issue #2 wth another bundled  bonus later this year! I think they'll collectively make the Super Pro K.O. vol. 3 experience that much better for you all :D Ok,  I'm off to work on SPKO 3 right now!

Super Pro K.O.!: NEON #1 / Heroes Con Table AA-1014 & Schedule

48 grueling hours later and my new, 28 page Super Pro K.O.!: NEON mini-comics are finally done! It features two stories and there are appearances by many wrestlers on the roster. It really does fit perfectly between SPKO v2 and v3.

Now, I'm on my way to Heroes Con in Charlotte! I'll be at Table AA-1014! I'll be at the Sports In Comics Panel (Friday, 1pm in Room 203B ) , SCAD Alumni Signing (Saturday, 1pm at AA-117) , and The Crogan Adventures Radio Hour (Sunday, 1pm in Room 203A).

I'll be opening my Etsy store to sell these to anyone out there that needs an SPKO fix until vol. 3 comes out! I'll have the link up next week once I get back from the show!

Sensational Sike : Suit & Tie

I miss my afro a lot. Thankfully, I made sure Sensational Sike has one of the largest ones in comics.

Elicity : Fresh 2 Death

Here's an illustration from my SPKO: Neon #1 Mini-comic!

Elicity is a pretty amazing wrestler who also works as a valet for The Wildchilds tag team in Super Pro K.O.! She's a lot of fun to draw because she's so sly and poised as a performer. I'm getting really comfortable drawing her, especially due to a couple scenes in Super Pro K.O. volume 3.
